Tell Your Elected Officials to Support Human Services Funding!
In Illinois, we are prohibited from having a Fair Tax because of our state constitution. A fair tax means individuals with lower incomes pay lower tax rates and those with higher incomes pay higher rates.
A Fair Tax will provide stable and sustainable revenues to protect our schools, public safety, health care and other important priorities. A Fair Tax will also allow for a tax cut for 99% of hard working Illinoisans. Given the grave fiscal crisis the state is in, it is critical that we pass a fair tax to generate necessary revenue!
If you help pass the Fair Tax Act, we will have the chance to vote on a Fair Tax this November! Call your legislators now!

¡Llame a sus legisladores para apoyar el Acta del Impuesto Justo!
En Illinois, estamos prohibidos tener un impuesto justo debido a nuestra constitución estatal. Un impuesto justo significa que individuos con ingresos bajos, pagan una tarifa más baja e individuos con ingresos altos pagan una tarifa más alta.
Un impuesto justo proveerá ingresos estables y sostenibles para proteger nuestras escuelas, seguridad pública, cuidado de salud y otras prioridades importantes. Un impuesto justo también permitirá un recorte de impuestos para 99% de la gente de Illinois. Dada la grave crisis fiscal en la que el estado se encuentra, es crítico que aprobemos un impuesto justo para generar ingresos necesarios!
