Quality Improvement Training Cohort
A cohort is a group of individuals working towards a common goal. It not only provides an opportunity to learn and work on achieving the goal, but also provides an opportunity to develop relationships with your peers.
Illinois Action for Children offers Quality Improvement Training Cohort groups for child care programs with a goal of improving its quality of care, while working towards and maintaining an ExceleRate™ Illinois Circle of Quality. Upon a program’s completion of the cohort requirements, expectations and the self-assessment, the program may request funds to help achieve objectives noted in its Continuous Quality Improvement Plan (CQIP).
More detailed information for the ExceleRate™ Illinois Cohort begins in section C of the following Guidelines & Applications packet.
